Frightened Rabbit's album Midnight Organ Fight is an energetic Scottish indie album that will make you smile, blush, and maybe even dance a little bit. The album is a raw and organic but has a big sound. With the use of horns and strings they mix up the guitar rock sound. When I listen to this album I always am surprised at how many songs I love on it and just when I think I have listened to the last amazing song another one come on. The one downside to the album is that it is pretty explicit in sexual content and quite frequently it is the topic of the lyrics. This is a very creative band and continue to produce quality music.
Some of my favorite songs are Good Arms vs. Bad Arms, Old Old Fashioned, and My Backwards Walk. The song that repulses me and I skip every time is Keep Yourself Warm due to how many times they curse.
