Crown College MN Review

Crown College has a special place in my heart because it is the college that I graduated from. There is plenty great with this school that made me enjoy the time that I spent there though like everything but God it has its downfalls.

What I loved about the school is the professors. They were great and they all knew my name and a little about me. The class sizes are small and so you can actually ask questions to the professors. The greatest part is that they answer you and care about you as an individual. It has all the love of a small town were everyone knows everyone.

I also loved the Frisbee Golf course that they have on the campus. It was one of the hardest and longest courses that I have played and it is great. They have it set up for easy access to 9 or 18 holes to play depending on how much homework you have due. The course goes over the pond, back into the woods, up and down hills, and the views of the campus as you play are great.

The bad things are if you are a city kid who wants to be in all the commotion of the city. It is in the middle of nowhere! Well there still is a Target 5 minutes away but you have to drive 45 minutes to get to Minneapolis and all the beauty that is beheld there. Also it is a very conservative christian school a little to conservative for me. Also because it is an Christian and Missionary Alliance school they always talk about going over seas to spread the gospel and that is great if they would only bring that up once in awhile. I wish that they would focus on growing deeper into Christ and then discuss how reaching the world will come out of that. Also the food is college food and nothing more not great not awful and you can always eat cereal or a sandwich. Oh, and it is wicked expensive at about 28k a year. So if you don't get a bunch of scholarships or if you aren't rich then don't go here.

Overall, I am missing my glory days of college and all the good times that I have had at Crown and would recommend going there if you are thinking about it. I would do it all over again if I could. But check out other colleges as well. Maybe even go to a community college to get some of the general classes done. But oh what fond memories I will always have of my little MN school.
