Dropbox.com Website Review

This is another one of my favorite websites. It is useful both for work and play. It is a file sharing program between computers. You can share files between friends or co-workers or your own personal computers. You can store everything online and then just download what you want from the site when you want it on your own account. Or you can create a folder on your computer and then it will automatically update the files whenever new ones are uploaded.

You can get an account for free starting with 2 GB of space to use. If you invite other people who get accounts then you can get extra space. You get 250 MB for every friend that joins and you can accumulate up to 8 GB if that many people join. So that is a lot of free space but it takes a little work. Or you can get 50 GB for 9.99$ a month. I would recommend giving it a try. There is nothing to lose.

Mips.tv- Web Review

Mips.tv is a website where you can create a channel for anyone to watch. You can have people stream a special event like a wedding, graduation, funeral, or any other event from anywhere in the world. It is easy to make an account and then you just have to have your own camcorder or web cam in order to get it up for others to watch.

In order to make a channel you need to have an account so that they can keep you accountable for what you are putting up on the site. But you don't have to have an account in order to watch what others are broadcasting. This is in place so that anyone can watch but others don't put up live streams of TV shows, Sports, or Movies....but this happens all the time so they are a little shady but what can you do when the internet is so huge and big and anyone can put anything they want on it. So, use it with caution and have fun with it.

Crown College MN Review

Crown College has a special place in my heart because it is the college that I graduated from. There is plenty great with this school that made me enjoy the time that I spent there though like everything but God it has its downfalls.

What I loved about the school is the professors. They were great and they all knew my name and a little about me. The class sizes are small and so you can actually ask questions to the professors. The greatest part is that they answer you and care about you as an individual. It has all the love of a small town were everyone knows everyone.

I also loved the Frisbee Golf course that they have on the campus. It was one of the hardest and longest courses that I have played and it is great. They have it set up for easy access to 9 or 18 holes to play depending on how much homework you have due. The course goes over the pond, back into the woods, up and down hills, and the views of the campus as you play are great.

The bad things are if you are a city kid who wants to be in all the commotion of the city. It is in the middle of nowhere! Well there still is a Target 5 minutes away but you have to drive 45 minutes to get to Minneapolis and all the beauty that is beheld there. Also it is a very conservative christian school a little to conservative for me. Also because it is an Christian and Missionary Alliance school they always talk about going over seas to spread the gospel and that is great if they would only bring that up once in awhile. I wish that they would focus on growing deeper into Christ and then discuss how reaching the world will come out of that. Also the food is college food and nothing more not great not awful and you can always eat cereal or a sandwich. Oh, and it is wicked expensive at about 28k a year. So if you don't get a bunch of scholarships or if you aren't rich then don't go here.

Overall, I am missing my glory days of college and all the good times that I have had at Crown and would recommend going there if you are thinking about it. I would do it all over again if I could. But check out other colleges as well. Maybe even go to a community college to get some of the general classes done. But oh what fond memories I will always have of my little MN school.

Spotify.com now in USA! Free music listening!

Spotify.com product has been available to the world for a long time but has recently become available to all of us here in the good old USA! It is a free program to listen to music and you get the whole thing for the first 90 days but then you have limitations... Or you can upgrade to the full deal for only 9.99 a month.... So that stinks but still you can use it with the restrictions. Until, then you can listen to any album that you want and any song you want in any order that you want! But you have to listen to some commercials like any thing that is free, you pay in ad time. It is cool with me thought because I like to support the artists and buy music legally anyways. So go check out Spotify.com and tell me what you think.

Emusic.com Review- subscription based music purchasing

Emusic.com is a subscription based music purchasing that I now use. After finding out that contrary to what they tell you Payplay.fm is not legal, I have now come to use Emusic.com because it actually is legal and they have contracts with everyone that they sell. It isn't as cheap as Payplay but it is a lot cheaper than i-tunes.

It is annoying that you have to have a subscription and if you don't use your money every month it is gone, so sometimes you have to buy individual songs and not albums to not pay more a month. So you have to have a long list of bands that you want to buy and plan a little but it is worth the 49 cent songs that you can find. They have a nice download manager and I would recommend trying it out. Let me know what you think about it...
